Good Day to You! I was hoping you might stop in again and check out other photographs of Shuswap Lake or Shuswap flora and fauna. I still have more of those old time slides of camping and just being outside in the Great Outdoors too. An interesting fact to me, is key words of dinosaur, rock and bears get so many searches on my blog. So Vega, Deneb and Altair should mean something to you too, I will see what I have for pictures on those subjects!
Please Bear with Me!
Everywhere you look there are young and old of all sorts, sizes and descriptions and these folks are wishing you a Happy Canada Day from 1942. Way before my time, but some of those people are relatives. What stories could they tell us with an Irish accent about Canada in their day!

Ready now for pictures from around the big lake? This scene shows Larch Hills on the left with Mt Ida on the right and Canoe BC in the middle. And speaking of Canoe, Happy 50th Birthday to my friend who is from Canoe!

I haven’t learned how to do the “Slides Shows” yet for my sidebar, but I have some great bridge pictures ready to experiment with soon. While we are on the subjects of friends and bridges, this picture is for our friends in Fort St John so they can cross the Peace River on their way down here to the Shuswap for summer holidays. This photo may very well be circa 1942 also.

And we have come to end of the update for today. But I hope not the end of our Blog Stats as we are now at the truly amazing count of 1707. Absolutely marvelous! Thanks for taking the time to visit. Time to get ready for tomorrow and to say to you Good-bye from this young family of Wood Ducks or Axis sponsa Tribe Cairinini should you prefer. See you on the lake. Have a safe and fun summer holidays write in the Shuswap!
