The bird feeder is now a hub of activity. Black-capped Chickadees (and usually at least one Mountain Chickadee) along with the Red-Breasted Nuthatch, who is kind of an “up side down” little creature are here, hungry and safe.

Foot prints in the snow

Today we have about ten inches of fresh white sparkly snow. Earlier this morning a cow moose and her young calf crossed through the garden, making their way to the marsh for an early morning visit.
